Brian Jacques’s Redwall Abbey Series

The Redwall abbey series, by Brian Jacques, is a fantasy series wherein a bunch of mice run an abbey, and are devoted healers to the sick and injured in the Mossflower woods.

What starts out as a quaint little tale, however, turns dangerous and ugly, as the peace of the abbey and the surrounding countryside is disturbed by the evil Cluny the Scourge.

I love this series of books, as do my girls, and it has been a favorite in Britain for some time, now making it’s way here to America. The series is available from Amazon; I’ve collected a few and intend to get the whole series.
