Brian Jacques’s Redwall Abbey Series
What starts out as a quaint little tale, however, turns dangerous and ugly, as the peace of the abbey and the surrounding countryside is disturbed by the evil Cluny the Scourge.
The story is epic, as are the other books in the series. For the best information, visit theĀ Redwall Abbey Web site.
I love this series of books, as do my girls, and it has been a favorite in Britain for some time, now making it’s way here to America. The series is available from Amazon; I’ve collected a few and intend to get the whole series.
Here are the books, in order of publication (which is the suggested method of reading, even though they jump back and forth in time):
Redwall (1986)
Mossflower (1988)
Mattimeo (1989)
Mariel of Redwall (1991)
Salamandastron (1992)
Martin the Warrior (1993)
The Bellmaker (1994)
Outcast of Redwall (1995)
The Great Redwall Feast (1996)
The Pearls of Lutra (1996)
The Long Patrol (1997)
Marlfox (1998)
Redwall Map & the Redwall Riddler (1998)
The Legend of Luke (1999)
Build Your Own Redwall Abbey (1999)
Lord Brocktree (2000)
A Redwall Winter’s Tale (Autumn 2001)
